To keep BBO free and open to everyone, we rely on ads and sponsor support. Ads are the simplest way for players to contribute to the platform and keep bridge accessible for all — without spending money or taking any action.
That said, if you’d prefer to play without ads, there are two easy ways to remove them:
Play our premium games
Ads are automatically removed whenever you are playing any of our premium games. These range from fun, low-cost formats that cost just a few cents, to official ACBL-sanctioned tournaments with ACBL Masterpoints® and BXP rewards. Whenever you join a paid game or spend money on the site, ads are hidden from your account for seven days.
In order to explore our premium options, you’ll need to purchase BB$ — our in-game currency. BB$ can be used to pay entry fees, rent robots, or access other optional features and services in the game. You can purchase BB$ securely from the BBO Store.
Subscribe to BBO+
The second option is to subscribe to BBO+, our premium membership. BBO+ offers an ongoing ad-free experience, along with several added features: unlimited advanced robots in the BBO+ Lounge, the ability to choose what system the robots are playing, video chat at the table, and more. Remember — you never have to pay to enjoy BBO. But if you're looking to remove ads and explore extra features, those options are there for you.
